Update 7/4/2021 - Holiday closure

Following the latest government announcement, that the 12th April lockdown easing will be going ahead, we are taking the opportunity to have a few days away for a little rest. As a small family business, this means we will have to down tools and close the workshop temporarily.

To ensure we get all outstanding orders posted before we go, we need to close order books in advance. This means any orders placed on or after the 7th April, will not be processed until we return to work on 19th April, our usual processing time of 1-2 weeks will apply from that date.

We hope this doesn't cause too much inconvenience to any of our customers, and look forward to getting back to making all your orders, refreshed and recuperated on the 19th April. Wishing a happy stay-cation to anyone else making the most of the beginning of lockdown easing 😊

Update 18/12/2020 - Christmas closure

Firstly we would like to say a massive thank you to all our amazing customers and their continued support during what has been a difficult year for everyone. We've been so busy this Christmas and we're so grateful. Now its time for us to have a well needed break!

We are now closed for the Christmas break and will be back making on the 4th January.

All orders placed before our Christmas cut off (11th December) were posted at the latest on the 16th December, via Royal Mail 1st Class.

All orders placed after our Christmas cut-off (11th December) will be processed when we return on the 4th January.

We will still be contactable by email and all queries will be answered within 48 hours. If you have a query regarding your order, please email us at info@pickledtink.co.uk

My order hasn’t arrived:

Royal Mail are under extra pressure this year, making sure they’re staying COVID-19 safe and with most Christmas shopping taking place online, they are extra busy. Please, please be patient with them.

Although 1st class usually only takes around 1-2 days, in some instances this is taking a little longer. We have posted all orders earlier than usual, to allow extra time for delivery. Please consider this before contacting us regarding late deliveries. Once your parcel has left us, we are reliant on Royal Mail doing the best they can to get your parcel to you on time.

Update 12/12/2020 - Christmas order books are now closed

Our Christmas order books are now closed. This doesn’t mean time off for us just yet though! We’re still working hard processing and making your orders ready for Christmas.

All orders placed before midnight on the 11th December, will be posted 1st class by Wednesday 16th December at the latest.

You may still place orders over the Christmas period. However please note that we are taking some (well needed!) time off, so any order’s placed after midnight on the 11th December will not be processed until we return from our Christmas break on the 4th January.

Christmas is the busiest time for us (even more so this year!), and as a small family run business it can be a complicated juggling act to make sure orders are ready on time, plus dealing with admin and customer queries! To help us focus on getting your orders ready we have answered some of your most common queries below. Please check through these before emailing/messaging to see if your question is answered below. Any emails or messages sent will be responded to within 24 hours, please bear with us during this busy time.

When will my order be dispatched?

All orders are sent by Royal Mail 1st class post. You will receive a dispatch email when it has been sent (please double check this hasn’t been filtered into your spam/junk folder!).

All orders placed before Christmas cut off (midnight on Friday 11th December), will be posted by Wednesday the 16th December. Please be patient, all items are made to order, so do take a few days to process, make and get into the post 🙂

Please allow extra time for your order to arrive before contacting us if your parcel hasn’t arrived. The more time we spend answering these queries, the less we can work on getting your orders made and posted.

We have closed our order books early and are getting everything posted a week prior to the suggested last post dates, to make sure your order has plenty of time to arrive.

Can you squeeze my order in before Christmas?

In short, no. We are very sorry about this. There has been extremely high demand this year due to most Christmas shopping taking place online and unfortunately there are only so many hours in a day (and we’re already working as many as humanly possible) We will not take on more orders than we can manage, so once books are closed, that’s it I’m afraid.

Will you be getting dog lead hooks and key hooks back in stock?

These are now not expected until after Christmas, due to supplier delays.

Thank you all for your continued support, wishing you all a very Merry Christmas

From The Pickled Tink Team x

(Archived) Update 12/08/2020 - Workshop Closure

Firstly we'd like to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing customers for their continued support through what is a very challenging time for all small business.

As a small business we are constantly working hard to bring our customers a great range of personalised and hand-made products. So much so, that we have out-grown our current workspace! We are currently making some changes to give us a little more space, which means we have had to temporarily close the workshop.

You are still more than welcome to place an order with us, however any orders placed after 12th August will not be processed until 24th August. Any orders placed before 12th August, will be dispatched no later than Monday 17th August.

(Archived) Update 24/03/2020 - COVID-19

Following last nights announcement I know we’re all feeling a little uncertain. I want to re-assure you all that our online shop is still open. Following government guidelines, I can continue to work from our home-based workshop, so orders can continue to be processed and posted. Royal Mail services are continuing to run as normal.

I hope that gifting our products can help to spread a little joy to loved ones during this difficult time. Items are all gift wrapped in tissue paper (free of charge) and can be easily sent directly to the recipient. I’m still offering 10% off with discount code KEEPSMILING

I will keep you all updated with any changes to services if/when they happen.
Stay safe everyone, and keep smiling
Christina x
